Download Plants from OPD

The Online Plant Database Import feature allows users to import plant data into Manage360 efficiently.

Step 1: Select Options

  1. Access the Import Feature:

    • Navigate to the Settings > Costbook Settings.

    • Select Download Plants from OPD.

  2. Configure the Import Options:

    • Zone Type: Choose the appropriate zone type from the dropdown menu either USDA or Sunset. In this example, USDA is selected.

    • Plant Zone: Select the plant zone. Here, Zone 1A is chosen.

    • Plant Type: Specify the plant type. For this example, Biennial is selected.

  3. Proceed to the Next Step.

Step 2: Select Plants

  1. View the Plant List:

    • Based on the selected options, the application will display a list of plants that meet the criteria. In this example, 19 plants were found.

  2. Select Plants to Import:

    • Review the list and check the boxes next to the plants you wish to import.

    • The list includes botanical names and common names for easy identification.

  3. Proceed to the Next Step.

Step 3: Results

  1. Review the Import Summary:

    • The application will provide a summary of the import process. In this example:

      • 8 plants were added to the plant list.

      • 11 plants were skipped because they already exist in the plant list.

  2. View Imported Plants:

    • To see the details of the imported plants, click the provided link.

  3. Complete the Import:

    • Click the Done button to finish the import process.
