Transferring Email

Because actions taken in Manage360 are associated with the employee’s login credentials, transactions that appear in the journal are listed as being performed by the user’s email instead of the user’s legal name. Therefore, if an existing email address is reassigned to a new employee, it will appear as though the new employee performed those actions instead of the employee that previously had that address. There is no negative impact of reassigning an email to a new employee, but it is recommended to use a new email to avoid confusion.

These old entries (refer to the figure) will remain assigned to the same email after you apply it to the new employee. Other records, such as salesperson, designer, and estimator, are unaffected. Only journal entries that are tied to an email/username are impacted.
